The similarity and distinction between the theoretical logic of Tocqueville and Weber about the role of religion in modern social Changes

Abstract
In their analysis of the nature of modern society, as well as its fundamental changes, Tocqueville and Weber studied the role of religion as an effective cause. In terms of these two, various factors and fields have played a role in the emergence of modern institutions and systems, and religion only is one of the most important reasons for this. In this paper, it is attempted meanwhile explaining the main foundations of the theoretical model that Weber and Tocqueville have theorized to analyze the relationship between religion and social fact, conclude the most important distinctions and Logical similarities that exist in the discussion of these two. To this end, the first Will be described the theoretical and sociological crisis that they have raised about modern society. Then, the logic and theoretical rules that form the basis of their analysis will be explained, and finally, through these topics with comparative comparisons, both theoretical models are compared to the differences and similarities.
