Study on Giving Fame to Celebrities in Media and Identity Crisis of Teenagers in the Society

Abstract
In a world where the media have surrounded us, celebrities play an important role in teenagers’s and youths’ life that is mostly unfavorable and annoying. Celebrities are created in societies where identity has become a wandering concept for adolescents and young people, and has led to the selection of celebrities as a symbol and role model. The aim of this research is to examine the status of celebrities as a product of the media and the role model of youth and adolescents. The method of this paper is descriptive, which is obtained using library method and content analysis.
