Abstract
With the rapid expansion of emerging media and the transformation of communication and media consumption patterns among the younger generation, traditional methods of transmitting and representing religious teachings have faced new challenges. Consequently, the dissemination of Razavi teachings among the youth has emerged as a significant issue in the field of religious communication. This research was conducted with the aim of designing a communication model for disseminating Razavi teachings among the younger generation within the context of emerging media, employing a qualitative approach. The study population consisted of 21 experts in media and communication, Razavi studies, and youth psychology, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected via semi-structured interviews until theoretical saturation was reached, and were subsequently analyzed using the thematic analysis method. The research findings indicate that the dissemination of Razavi teachings in emerging media requires a multi-dimensional model aligned with the characteristics of the younger generation. Accordingly, eight core components were identified as the central dimensions of the communication model: the youth’s cognitive gap, the application of religious teachings, narrative-centeredness, generational empathy, intelligent media-centeredness, media literacy, social modeling, and institutional coherence. These findings demonstrate that the effectiveness of religious communication in emerging media depends, above all, on understanding the young audience and representing content in formats suitable for the new media landscape. The model presented in this study can serve as a basis for analyzing and designing communication strategies related to Razavi teachings in the contemporary media ecosystem.
