The relationship between virtual social networks and the trust of teachers in Parsabad city

Abstract
Today, the role of virtual social networks in people's lives has become very prominent and effective. This study aims to investigate the relationship between virtual social networks and teachers' trust. The research method is survey and the statistical population of secondary school teachers in Parsabad city is 290 people in the academic year 1399-1400, which using Morgan table, 165 people were selected and selected as the sample size. The data collection tool was a questionnaire and the research sampling method was filled in by quota method through cyberspace and teachers' site due to the prevalence of coronavirus and its limitations.Data were analyzed using SPSS software and Pearson correlation test to assess the relationship between independent variables (virtual social networks) and dependent variables of trust (interpersonal trust, generalized trust, institutional trust and civil trust) Teachers. The results showed that there is a direct and significant correlation between virtual social networks and trust. Virtual social network has a positive and direct effect on interpersonal and institutional trust but has a negative and opposite effect on civic trust. There was no relationship between the use of virtual networks and generalized trust.
