Abstract
For many owners, the car is not only a vehicle and a livelihood, it is also a tool for expressing many concepts; including romantic, social, religious and political ones. The bumper stickers reflect the culture of car owners and drivers, and these inscriptions can be considered as mirror reflecting national and local, individual and folk culture. In this article, in two provinces of Isfahan and Sistan and Baluchestan, the bumper stickers of trucks have been collected in order to be able to proceed in their way of thinking and behavior of drivers in these areas. The content of the collected bumper stickers was analyzed and compared in these two provinces. According to the data collected in these two provinces, 887 inscriptions were collected by purposeful and scheduled sampling and were classified into 3 main categories (linguistic symbol, visual symbol, and mathematical symbol) along side their subcategories. For data analysis, SPSS software, descriptive statistics and Chi-square test were used. The results of the existing research showed that in both provinces, the highest percentage belonged to the religious category. Although there was a significant relationship between the two provinces in the visual symbol, there were no commonality and no significant relationship between the two provinces in the mathematical symbol.
