In this article, the TV series "The Game of Thrones" is considered as a cinematic discourse, focusing on the unexpected ending of the series, the discontinuity of discourse that leads to the revelation of ideological meaning. In this study, relying on Foucault's discourse analysis method, the serial narrative is analyzed according to the three stages of Joseph Campbell's "Heroic Journey", focusing on the journey of the three heroes, John Snow, Denis Targaryan, and Bran Stark, who are in the final stages of the final competition to sit on the throne. The results show that Game of Thrones discourse provides a continuous pattern of hero's journey, but this pattern loses its consistency in the final part, leading to the emergence of a serial ideology whereby narrative discourse that was on the path of secularizing "sovereignty" and establishing a rapprochement between the upper and lower classes as ideological meanings, however The ending of this series exacerbates this gap and gives sovereignty a more inaccessible position.
