A study on relation between the rate of Media Literacy and Religious Attitudes in Students of the Faculty of Humanities at Bu-Ali Sina University

Abstract
 This research studies the relation between the rate of media literacy and religious attitude in students of Buali Sina University. A sample of 335 people was selected from the statistical population of size 2524,with stratified-random sampling method. In this research, correlational research method was used. The validity of questionnaire was assured by content-related validity method and the reliability was tested and assured by Cronbach's alpha, for which we got 0.89 for religious attitude questionnaire, and 0.79 for media literacy questionnaire. For data analysis, we took advantage of Inferential statistics including Pearson Correlation and compound regression .The results show that: The level of Media Literacy is predictable from the Cognitive of religion, affective of religion, and psychomotor of religion. There is a positive and meaningful relation between the Cognitive of religion and Media Literacy and there is a positive and meaningful relation between the affective of religion and Media Literacy finally, there is a positive and meaningful relation between psychomotor of religion and Media Literacy.
