Abstract
In contemporary societies, the visual matter plays a key role in the cultural construction of social life. Despite this, the images are not neutral in the representation of reality, and they usually present a kind of narrative from external realities according to the discourses in which they are placed. The main question of the current article is, what is the visual narrative of the life of the Queen of England on the Persian BBC website? To answer the main question of the research, the method of discourse analysis proposed by Jillian Rose has been used. Based on the results of the research, in the discourse articulation of the visual narrative of the life of the Queen of England on the BBC network, the main point is emphasized that the institution of monarchy in England is a ceremonial institution and has a minimum of power. In order to instill this main theme, several central categories have been used, which include the display of the queen's daily life, the queen's clothing, the fringes of the royal family, the queen's popularity among the general public, the queen as a symbol of the nation and the government of England, and a queen who loved the media.
