Abstract

The current research is aimed at getting familiar with the fields of social work interventions for workers and employees, which is an interdisciplinary trend in occupational social work. This research was done with a narrative review method and data analysis was done with the thematic analysis method of data taken from documents related to occupational social work. The data were first analyzed with the thematic analysis approach of Brovan and Clark and then with King's approach. Based on what was found, the fields of social work interventions of workers and employees were obtained according to the theory of social ecology in four levels: micro, middle, macro and external. The sub-themes that were obtained in the meantime included "behavioral psychology, follow-up and solving job problems, teamwork, structural organization and management, structural investigation and evaluation". Among the studies that have been conducted in the field of occupational and industrial social work, it was felt that there is a place for an occupational social work with an anti-oppressive and critical approach and aimed at workers and employees, which comprehensively includes the capacities and interventions of social work of workers and employees..Finally, based on what was found from the collection of data and their analysis in a thematic method, it was concluded that the social work of workers and employees can play an important role in the capacity building and development of human resources of organizations.
