Such circumstances, in contrast to the limited social relations in primitive and Premodern societies, lead to widening of the person''''''''''''''''s living area and personality development. In such a situation, a person as a member of different groups with different roles acquires more freedom and choices. Simmel by giving these pre-conditions, and examining the historical and social changes associated with the Renaissance and then, as well, recognizes three types of Individualism of isolation, unique and modern by defining individuality means a state of inner and outer liberation of person about the basic forms, which tendency to be each associated with socio-historical conditions of the 18th, 19th and 20th century has had the strength or weakness. This study tries to study the meanings of individuality and individualism and semantic transformation and its meaning in different centuries from the perspective of Georg Simmel, and explore the relationship between individuality and social structure. توسعه و تکوین فرایند های تفکیک اجتماعی و فردی در جوامع مدرن، به طور فزاینده ای به گسترش حلقه  های اجتماعی ای می انجامد که فرد در آنها امکان تحرک و تحول می یابد. چنین شرایطی در قیاس با روابط اجتماعی محدود در جوامع بدوی و پیشامدرن منجر به گسترش حیطه ی زندگی و رشد شخصیت فرد می شود. در چنین وضعیتی، فرد به عنوان عضوی از گروه های متفاوت با نقش های متفاوت، آزادی و امکان انتخاب های بیشتری به دست می آورد. زیمل با ارائه ی این پیش شرط ها و با بررسی تغییر و تحولات تاریخی و اجتماعی عصر رنسانس و پس از آن، و نیز با تعریف فردیت به معنای وضعیتی از رهایی درونی و بیرونی فرد از فرم های عمومی، سه نوع فردگرایی: تک افتادگی، بی همتایی و مدرن را تشخیص می دهد که تمایل به هر کدام در ارتباط با شرایط تاریخی- اجتماعی در قرن های  18، 19 و 20 شدت یا ضعف داشته است. مقاله حاضر بر آن است تا به بررسی معانی فردیت و فردگرایی و تحول معنایی و مفهومی آن در طی قرن های مختلف از دیدگاه گئورگ زیمل بپردازد و رابطه فردیت با ساختار اجتماعی را از منظر وی مورد کند و کاو قرار دهد.  https://www.jscm.ir/article_46833_f2fcaff2a0108d79b786b9a6d289a8ae.pdf
