Journal Article 2019 09 23 In Iranian society, special conditions have arisen due to the increasing growth of new communication technologies, especially the Internet and smart phones, and of course the presence in transition conditions from a development perspective. In these circumstances, the pace of change in people's tastes is very high and new issues and needs are emerging day by day. Startups are one of the factors that can help address this need. Startups, with their unique features, bring together a creative, caring and motivated workforce in an agile structure and find solutions to the problems of the day, tailored to the needs of society. In this research, it has been tried to study how Iranian society is exposed to startups and offer some solutions for their growth. An examination of the current status of startups in Iran shows they are paying particular attention to the services by using the Internet and smartphones which provide many services. It can be seen that there is not much research done because of the newness of the problem; for this reason, in this research, using Grounded Theory in exploratory way, it is attempted to analyze the problem well. As a result, it seems that in Iranian society, an independent institution should be created as the guardian of the startup space and redefines the startup space of the country with the native capacities and characteristics of the Iranian society. It can make good use of this capacity by prioritizing the country's core issues as a roadmap for startups.
